• COMMON APPLICATION OF COMPUTER
One of the key component of the computer is the field where computers are to be used. There are some application area of computer as follows:
1. EDUCATION
Computers are used in education for teaching. All computer institute provide the different types of modules such as problem solving, tutorial, etc. The educational CDs (Compact Disk) of every subject provide audio/video features for teaching or educational purposes.
2. OFFICES
In the office, every work is performed with the help of computer for projects, letters, documents, forms, etc. In this area several types of software are developed by the user or programmer. For these works, the main software is used such as Microsoft Office package, as manual works performed very less.
3. BANKS
In banks, computers are not only used to maintain all types of Customer's Accounts but also used to verify the customer's signature on Cheques. The computers work with the LAN / WAN (Local Area Network / Wide Area Network) system in every bank. This type of facilities provides customers to deposit money or withdraw money from any computerised branch.
4. MEDICAL
To diagnose different types of disease, the computer diagnostic machines are used in which it help in treatment and surgery. Not only this but computers are also used in pathological tests, eye testing, city-scanning, ultrasound, bypass surgery, scanning of internal parts of brain etc.
5. PUBLICATION AND PRINTING
The DTP(Desktop Publishing) provide us to design and composing the books, magazines, CorelDra, PageMaker, etc. software provide these facilities. With the help of Photoshop software we can change any photo or picture. Above all we can print those using offset or screen, laser printing and digital printing.
