The most powerful computers in today's world are super computers. These computers are used for solving computer problems. The supercomputers are reaching up to speed of about 25000 million arithmetic operations per second. Governments specially use this huge computer for designing their products. In most of the Hollywood's movies, it is used for animation purposes. It is used for biomedical application, space control system, image processing, defense, weather forecasting metrological department etc. India has also manufactured supercomputer such as CRAY-XMP, PARAM by C-DAC at Pune.
